1. find free courses, it could be art, writing, dancing. something to get u out of the house and moving and distract you from school
2. get used to being on your own, and try doing things alone. going to the movies, going on walks, exploring the city that is now your home.
3. use social media to your advantage. find groups of people who have the same interests as you and try to reach out
4. keep in touch with your family and friends back home please and also be honest with them about your mental and physical health. if you’re having a bad time, and you think they won’t get extremely worried, tell them about it
5. use your comfort tv shows and music as company if you live alone
6. find new hobbies that you can invest some time on
7. i promise you’ll get the hang of it and a lot of people are coming your way to walk this new path with you. you’ll be a pro at independence before you know it. just focus on your goals and be honest with yourself.
8. if you really are losing it, get help if that’s something you can do. it’s for the sake of your future and your mental health, it doesn’t make you a failure or weak. on the contrary, it makes u strong and ambitious
